Race cars with labeled numbers competing on a wide asphalt track surrounded by orange cones.

Husker 19 is the 8th car produced by Husker Motorsports and represents one of the largest leaps in the program's history. This car helped pave the way to a record breaking year for Husker Motorsports and truly out did any of it's predecessors. Husker 19 features a completely redesigned steel tube chassis that is optimized for different loading throughout the car. This was the first car that successfully implemented front and rear wings to produce downforce for improved handling capabilities. The front and rear suspension were designed with independent front and rear dampers to complement the lightweight corner assemblies. To resolve previous cooling issues, Husker 19 incorporated a side mounted  radiator and oil cooler. A Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R 636 provided 96 horsepower to the wheels, which greatly contributed to the team's success in the acceleration event . Husker 19 was our first car that completed an endurance race, not only in Michigan, but also in Lincoln. It also took us to our first design finals and placed in the top 10 at the Lincoln competition, two things that had never been done by Husker Motorsports before.
